Communication
A strong school-home partnership helps children thrive.
At Brookline Sprouts, we value the partnership between school and home because strong communication supports better outcomes for preschoolers as well as older children. Families can expect clear updates, regular check-ins, and accessible leadership when questions or concerns come up.
Brightwheel updates
Families stay connected through Brightwheel with updates, photos, direct messages, and digital announcements throughout the day.
Regular family check-ins
Scheduled parent-teacher conferences and year-round check-ins help families understand how their child is progressing in education, development, routines, and care.
Open door communication
Administration maintains an open door policy so caregivers can schedule phone calls or meetings about questions, concerns, transitions, or next steps.
Quality care standards
Our STAR 4 designation reflects a commitment to strong early learning practices, staff development, family engagement, and continuous quality improvement.
Communication at Sprouts is designed to help families feel informed, heard, and supported.

Affordable Care
High-quality care at affordable rates.
For many families, cost is an important part of the decision-making process. Brookline Sprouts accepts child care subsidy and can help you understand how that support fits with enrollment and scheduling.
Brookline Sprouts works hard to provide high-quality care at affordable rates to families. Prices include instruction, materials, meals, and snacks.
Subsidy accepted
Families using tuition support can ask how subsidy works with enrollment and scheduling at Sprouts. We currently accept ELRC Child Care Works and ACCM subsidy. Child Care Aware is a separate family support resource, and we can help you understand how each option may fit your situation.
A practical next step
If you need help understanding reduced-cost or free child care options, we can talk you through the next step.
We can help you talk through subsidy, scheduling, and whether Sprouts is the right fit for your family.

Family Feedback
Parents stay because the care is consistent, responsive, and personal.
“Since we moved from Turkey to the U.S., my daughter's preschool experience has been at Tree of Life Bible Church. At first, I was really anxious because she didn’t know the language, but with the support of her teachers, friends, and the school, she goes to preschool every day happily and leaves just as happily. The teachers are truly amazing—they respond right away and do everything they can. As a mom, in a new country, a new culture, I was so worried, but it wasn’t difficult at all. My daughter has grown so much—in her language skills, her confidence, and her academic progress. This journey has helped me grow too. Every day, seeing her gain freedom and confidence at school gives me courage as well. Here, we haven’t just received an education; we’ve built a family, a sense of belonging. I’m so incredibly grateful, and this has truly been a turning point in her academic and personal growth.”

Questions Families Ask
Clear answers to the practical questions parents often ask.
If you want to talk through scheduling, openings, or your child's needs, a tour or direct inquiry is the best next step.
Yes. Children need to be potty trained to attend Brookline Sprouts. Nighttime accidents can still be normal for some young children, but during the day children should be able to recognize when they need to use the bathroom, tell an adult, get on and off the toilet independently, and manage the routine with minimal help.
We serve children ages 3 and up. Children ages 3 to 5 are served in our preschool and Pre-K program, including summer Pre-K. School age children can join our school-year wraparound afterschool program or our summer school age program, depending on the time of year and your family's schedule.
Families can choose 2 to 5 days a week, with partial-day and full-day options depending on what works best for their schedule.
We offer preschool only Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and extended care is until 5:30pm. There are options for early drop off as early as 7:00 AM. School age care during the school year is available from 7:00 AM to school drop off, then school pickup to 5:30 PM. Full day options are available for most in service and half days. School age summer care is 8:00AM -5:30pm, with early drop options similar to preschool.
Yes. Meals and snacks are included with no additional fees. We participate in USDA food programming, exceeding the standard meal requirements. While we do collect some income information for program compliance, every child receives food at no extra cost regardless of your family's income.
We use the Brightwheel app for day-to-day family communication, photos, reminders, updates, billing information, and direct messaging. It gives families one place for updates, announcements, and direct communication with the program. There are regular parent teacher conferences throughout the year and upon request. Administration also maintains an open-door policy, allowing for easy scheduling of phone calls and in-person meetings. We want your child's time with us to be a partnership between school and home - which starts with clear communication between all caregivers.
Availability can vary by age and schedule, and some options fill faster than others. If you are interested, we recommend that you schedule a tour or fill out the inquiry form right away so we can talk with you about current openings, fit, and any waitlist status.
